If the Mayor is against it at this time, I commend him. However, everything that I have read or heard indicates that he sees nothing wrong with this Mosque being built at the site. I too have heard that it is being funded by some unsavory or suspect backers.

It is about time that American politicians developed a backbone and a pair of ba**s to defend and represent the American people as they were elected to do. So far, all I see most politicians do the minute they are elected is to worry about getting re-elected and to hell with the people they are supposed to represent.

Now that the American citizens have seen what a pack of lies Obama had spouted during his election, it is time that we declaw him by taking away his Democratic majority starting November- 2010.
