I need help not an ad for knock offs

Other than your friend, hitting up a bag of heroin and having an allergic reaction to the cut, I seriously doubt the symptoms you are describing are being caused solely on opiate abuse. Even if that were the case, that problem would be a very limited occurrence, and not some sort of ongoing problem.  No self-respecting junkie is going to go out when they’re sick to look for that brand on the streets. “Hey man, you got that stuff that makes your tongue swell and keeps you up all night?”   I don’t think so; word gets out quick on what brands to stay away from. As for anything else there are literally millions of people in the U.S. and abroad using doctor prescribed opiates everyday for a variety of painful medical conditions; some of them for years. Nevertheless, my advice would be for your “friend” to get themselves to the nearest hospital for treatment without further delay!   Best of Luck

Knowing Others is Intelligence. Knowing Yourself is True Wisdom...

I would agree with Renegade on whether you have confirmed if ALL signs are solely of opiate abuse .  Have you discussed it with your friend on a serious note? Try and convince him/her to see an expert who can help him/her realize the ill effects of the concerned issue. It is very important to seek professional help. You can call a toll free number 800-714-8354 and talk to counselors there to guide you in the right direction.

Yes, These are the effect of opiate abuse. You immediately need to talk to a doctor or go for a drug rehab center.

Affect vs effect is a common debate. Affect should be used in your sentence because it is used primarily as a verb. While effect is used as a noun in all situations.
