Based on the following evidence in the Bible, God is from the beginning personally knowable as self-revealing "source of life" or eternal life and, therefore, the architype of openness.

1. "Life-giving breath" associated with "the tree that gives life". (Gen. 2: 7-9)  
2. "A flame coming from the middle of a bush on fire but not burning up", open to communication, with LIVE references (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), full of sympathy to the conditions of people, speaking on his own authority, identifiable by his fitting name, alias, "I Am Who I Am", and knowable by "all future generations". (Ex. 3: 1-15)
3. "The bronze snake lifted up on a pole in the desert" with powers of healing and judging (Num. 21: 4-9) and  
4. CHRIST'S DEATH ON THE CROSS with the divine powers of unification of all believers into "one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all mankind, who is Lord of all, works through all, and is in all.(Matt. 27: 50-56; John 19: 30-37; Eph. 4: 1-     16; Heb. 10: 19-25; Rev. 21; 22)
