If you are referring to having a third party contract where they do the paperwork for you and file it with the proper agencies for a fee you might want to be careful. You can get taken for a ride as far as costs.

To form an LLC is fairly cheap, for Tennessee which is where I formed my LLC it was only $300. I varies from state to state as far as cost. I would call the Secretary of State for your state and find out what you need to do to form an LLC it would be a whole lot cheaper if you can do it all yourself. It's really not that hard, it's just going from not knowing what to do to finding out what you need to fill out to get the ball rolling. Ask a lot of questions the people there are usually very helpful.
