Class-based universities sometimes offer online courses. However they are not transferrable to class based degrees without an instructor's approval. Online courses lack much from education.

Well I don't think that online universities accept transfer credits. Well in my opinion if you are planning to enroll yourself for online education, then you have to very certain about that university as their are too many scams going in the name of universities too.
