why does one tv on Dish dual box have satellite signal signal and receives channels, and the other tv does not have satellite signal (says "acquiring satellite signal")? All connections checked ok ...

The issue is mostlikely with the signal strength. If it is not strong enough the receiver will not pull enough signal for both tuners. This can be caused by a misaligned antenna or poor cabling. Please email me at: Daniel.Busa@DISH.com
