One church

In the Bible, there is one and only one church with three aliases all built on Christ's death on the crossfor worshipping God in complete freedom from time and place; perpetually revealed "as he really is", i.e., in Spirit and truth, according to the great terms and "seal" in the "new covenant" (as amended). They are listed as follows:

1.      Jesus' being "raised to glory" or "being lifted up from the earth" (John 7: 37-39; 12: 32-33),

2.      "A new way, a living way" (Heb. 10: 19-25) and

3.      "The Lord God Almighty and the Lamb" (Rev. 21: 22-27)

(Jer. 31: 31-34; Luke 2: 23-32; John 4: 21-26; Matt. 26: 26-29; 27: 50-56) 

Therefore, aren’t all the other churches counterfeits? (Somebody please help me if I am wrong!)

Hi Wolde, long time.

as I have said and you have heard.  The true church of God is in "you" your heart

your individual existence.  This is the place that no one else can go to but you and God.

It has been a long time, I hope you are well.

That depends on what you define as "A Church" and what they teach. If you are thinking of any church that teach only their members can be saved, I might agree with the point . Consider Jesus answer when the woman at the well asked  the question of which place is the correct place to worship.

Most churches don't teach that membership in their particular church is required.  That is the whole point of "Grace"

You might find the book "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis helpful

AS God has said and you heave heard, If you have never repented and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord God and Savior, the Holy Spirit of God (the church as you call it)  the spirit of Jesus Christ IS NOT IN YOU.

 

The spirit of Jesus Christ is not in you if you have not accepted Him as your Lord God and Savior.

 

There is the spirit of the false Christ "satan" who shows himself to be God, satans spirit can deceive you into thinking the real Jesus Christ spirit in you, ONLY by repenting of your sins and accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord God and savior according to scripture can you decern the difference.
