Discuss Elden's answer to: Old cat is getting very thin

My cat will be celebrating his 18th birthday in a couple of months time. A couple of days ago I noticed that he has become very thin. He was never a very large or a very fat cat, but now I can feel ...

Just like people when we get old and near death. If you see him eat then you know he isn't starving. Maybe a change in food might interest him? Cat's usually go off somewhere to die so if he is a in and out cat he might not come home one day.

Thanks for your answer

He is a stay at home cat, never goes out. I'm just worried that he might be sick or in pain or something.
