I agree.  The layout is horrible and the design is block-y.  It seems like a 1.0 version instead of something new!!  The ads on the side of the mail screen are the worst part!!  Please use the old layout and maybe you won't lose the remaining AOL customers!!  Here I come gmail!!!!

This new settings are TERRIBLE!!  I want my settings back now.  How do I get them back?  Aol just went backwards 25 years.

You can't get them back. AOL thinks this version is great so they're shoving it down our throats.
