The Association of Oldetime Barbell and Strongmen (AOBS) only began in 1984 but that might be what you are looking for.

There is also American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS).

You got a 14' seet steel boat? Usually you see 'em made out of riveted aluminum. Fiberglass works a lot better. Mercer don't ring a bell, but if that boat is as old as you say it is probably rusted so many places it looks more like Swiss cheese than a boat. No way to fix that. Sorry.
