Obama's Cabinet

Yes.  I think that there are many people who aren't the hugest fans of Obama, but they trust the Clintons.  America was successful and at peace during the Clinton administration, and I think many people see the Clintons being a part of the white house happenings as a positive thing.  Hillary has a lot of experience, and Bill has even more... it will be good for America.

Hiring Hillary as Secretary Of State, would be the greatest meeting of the minds between the Obama and Clinton team. She would make an awesome addition to the Obama Administration and we would have a Clinton in the White House after all. I am a great fan of the Clintons, and am very happy about this.

Obama would do very WELL to choose Hillary to be secretary of state. With her popularity and experience she is, in fact, his wisest choice yet.

I am a supporter of both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.  Of course Hillary Clinton would make an excellent Secretary of State.  However, I wish she would remain in the Senate.

Cabinet members are and must be expendable.  They may be forced to resign through no fault of their own.  A cabinet member rarely lasts the entire length of an administration.  The Secretary may have a power or philosophical dispute with the President.  The Secretary may have to take the blame for a failure of the Administration.  If Hillary is forced to resign, it will damage her AND the President AND the interests of the United States.

If Hillary remains in the Senate she will become the de facto spiritual leader of the liberal wing of the Democratic party.  Senator Ted Kennedy has been that person and now his Senate career is drawing to a close.  After Senator Kennedy leaves, there is no one as famous or historic as Hillary Clinton.  When she speaks, the world listens.  She would be in a position to help maneuver important legislation not just through the Sentate, but through the American political process.

In short, Hillary is too important to be Secretary of State.
