Why can't Obama run for a third term as President of the United States of America?

The Twenty-second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America says NO ONE shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice.  Besides, it seems increasingly unlikely Obama will be able to cheat and lie and gerrymander even a second term.  That is, unless he is impeached and doesn't finish the first!
