How can Obama, a constitutional Lawyer, be so ignorant of the way government works?

Phil, Obama does not know what the hell he's doing. I don't care what kind of lawyer he is. To me, he does not use good judgment. I don't like this President at all. He is so arrogant but yet somehow ignorant. That is my opinion.

bho is a puppet of others. They tell him what to do, where to do it and when to do it. They supply him with teleprompters to get it right. His arrogance and ego do the rest. They elected a "speaker", not an intelligent man. I don't worry about him as much as I worry about the people that tell him what to say and the voters that elected him.

I must agree with all that has been posted so far. I have never seen anything like this and I don't mean that in a good way. The State of the Union was an embarassing, amateuristic, egotistic, disjointed rant. It was disgraceful and empowering to our enemies. One of the least experienced persons in the room daring to lecture the congress and Supreme Court; outrageous! He contradicted himself, he made flippant, off-hand, unpresidential remarks. McConnel, the new Governor of Virginia, was much more presidential in his rebuttal and brought some dignity to the occasion that Obama could not even imagine.

The reason why Obama lectures and scolds the judicial and legislative branches of our government is because of his disdain for our form of government. He believes that he should control and run it all and it galls him to have to stand side by side with them and not above them. He doesn't do anything in the interests of the American people but only for his own interests. He apparently does the same thing to his Whitehouse staff, openly criticizing them in front of one another. This is a power ploy of an insecure leader. It puts the other person in a defensive mode and temporarily empowers the offender. I'm sure we have all worked for a boss like this. The tragedy here is that he can get away with it. If one of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Supreme Court or Congress stood-up and called him out (as rightly they should for his propensity for lying) they would have been ostracized but he uses the dignified office of the president to get away with outrageous behavior and he does it with impunity. It is disgusting. His contempt for the American people is obvious.
