Obama attended the Rev. Wrights church for 20 years, I don't know how Christian that was since the Good Reverend was not too fond of America or white people.  He does not attend Church on Sundays and neither does his wife and children, I don't see what difference it makes considering Bill Clinton went to church every Sunday and carried his own bible around with him when he went in case they asked him to speak from the pulpit, why else would he take his own bible? The only time I took my bible to church was when I was in Sunday school and we had to read it. There is usually a sermon so you don't have a chance to read it, so Obama not going is a little more honest than Bill Clinton going. I doubt that Obama is a Christian, he hasn't gone to Mosque so unless he has a prayer rug in the whitehouse, he might just be an Athiest, who knows, no one cared where he was born so why care about what religion he is.

Obama is not a Christian, he even stated that this was NOT a Christian nation! Since he had to distance himself from the radical race baiter, Rev. J. Wright, whom he (did not hear him say that "stuff") after 20 years of attending Wrights so called Church, he has not attended any services. He did make a speech to honor Islam this past week. This man is a muslim socialist, looking to destroy this country.

The White House said Monday that President Barack Obama continues “to look for a church home,” and said a magazine report that he has stopped is erroneous.

 
White House deputy press secretary Jen Psaki said by e-mail: "The president and first family continue to look for a church home. They have enjoyed worshiping at Camp David and several other congregations over the months, and will choose a church at the time that is best for their family."
 
Time.com had reported: “In an unexpected move, Obama has told White House aides that instead of joining a congregation in Washington, D.C., he will follow in George W. Bush's footsteps and make his primary place of worship Evergreen Chapel, the nondenominational church at Camp David.”

Obama probably doesn't have time to devote to church services EVERY Sunday.

And would it matter, one way or the other, that he never went to a church?  Can't people be Christians without joining a church?  Can't people pray anywhere, any time, any place?

The bottom line is that what he does or doesn't do concerning his religious beliefs is his business, since religion should be a personal matter.

absolutely!!    Why pretend to be a Christian when you are a muslim, that must get annoying, if he wants to go to a Mosque he should just go ahead and go, so what if he does?  The fact that this is a Christian Nation founded on Christian beliefs and ideals , although Obama said it is not, should not stop him. Every President elect is expected to attend some sort of church services on Sunday although it isn't a law, every President before him has done so. Of course things are different now, this is not the same Country it once was, we are no longer considered a Christian nation by our own President and I think it is only a matter of time before he dons his Muslim robes and attends mosque, I think thats what he would prefer to do, he ought to start doing that as soon as possible, maybe Sept 11th would be a good time, nothing would surprise me anymore.

This white house is run by a bunch of junk yard dogs who don't know what they are doing, they have never heard of common sense or protocol or even good manners, they just fell into sh*t and are living like its the Cotton club all over again.  This is the change we were promised, well not all of us, just some of us were promised change, unfortunately all of us are getting it. Someone ought to tell Bumpy Johnson that it would look good if he went to church once in awhile if for nothing else except to make Americans feel better about who is in the white house. I guess I shouldn't complain, at least he holds his hand over his heart when they say the pledge of alegience now, it took him awhile to learn how to do that. He used to just stand thee with his hands at his side and his back to the flag , so at least thats an improvement.
