I prefer the NuWave, I have had it for over 5 years.  The NuWave has a longer lasting heater inside the powerhead.  The Halo is more like a halogen lightbulb.  I like the NuWave because it is not a heavy glass that also becomes very hot.  I would not want my kids to use it.  With the NuWave my kids can use the NuWave after school and I am not worried about them getting hurt or burnt.  I found a NuWave oven facebook page that has a lot of people talking.  Hope that helps

Try a site that may be local in Va. only, but they would be able to point you in your desired direction.. Cashwell appliance parts is their name.. Google them though because I don't have their web address handy. I get appliance parts from them for a fraction of what other retailers charge.. good ...
