I have a bowl that is signed by Gary McCloy and I would love to know if Gary McCloy. Mr. McCloy, once a ceramics professor in Ohio, is a very well known West Coast potter. He has made pottery for many in Hollywood when he lived and potted in Los Angeles, and now while living in Palm Springs, Ca.

How do you correctly write the abbreviation for "also knows as"? That should be "also known as" and it can be abbreviated to a.k.a. or AKA or a/k/a and sometimes aka but aka looks too much like an ordinary word.
RIP Gary Coleman I used to watch Different strokes many years ago and I loved the interaction between Gary and his brother (Ted Hodges). They were so funny and am sure made a lot of people happy. RIP Gary!
