Need more therapy??

I became a paraplegic in 2006 from a ruptured dis in the T10-T11 area.

I would like to have some intense physical therapy, but my insurance said i am maintaining and kicked me out of therapy.  Is there anything i can do to receive more therapy.  my left leg is about 60% useful, while the right leg is only about 10%.   I believe that i could walk again,  but only with the therapy i wish for.   What can i do ?

With dedication, you can get just as much therapy benefit doing the work @ home.

The home therapy recommended for your condition is laying on your back with your feet up on a large exercise ball.  Roll the ball around with your heals or the soles of your feet.  The reason is that the control muscle for the balance of your pelvis is attached at the front of the spine where your injury is located. The area needs to be supported [you may need a rolled up wash cloth under the spot to hold it so that it is not painful] while you improve the function and strength of the muscles attached there.
