my protect light on my lanzar vibe 420 car stereo amplifier turns on everytime i turn my radio on what do i need to do or do i have a bad amp

Do you turn them on seperately?  If so, do you have them wired into the same source outlet or circuit?  Sounds like the amp needs all the power, and the radio is sucking just enough for your amplifier to be lacking enough amperage to drive it properly.

everything is hooked up right and the amp turns on auto. when the car is started but the amp wont work, the protect light comes on and i get no output

dunno, does amp cut off?not an expert on amps only on tint. Mr. Window Tinting. at www.choicetints.com
