hello my name is kevin and i have registered with the employment office online and they have sent me my conformation for unemployment funds available to me.However I am not ready to start looking for employment yet.I was laid off my job i worked for 4 years and i really wanted to take a vacation of sorts.Which leads me to my question how long can i wait to start putting my time or is there a time period that i have to start?Can you answer that?

You need to somehow edit your question and remove your social security number -- people are VERY dishonest and it could be viewed by the wrong person!
