What do i need to know before filing for a restraining order

can i go to the police station to file a restraining order against my husband? he has never hit me but is demeing towards me and is threating to me and threating to have my daughter taken away from me. we are seperated

You absolutely can go to the police to file a report. The sooner you do it, the better. Good luck.
