Dee, you must give name & model # of product you are looking for help. Do you still have the original manual ? the original Remote Control [R/C] ? The reason is that some Tv s have " Remote Control diagastonic " section. When you 1st. turn on the TV you should hear "Beeps" if there is something wrong. Depending on the number of beeps, that will be the trouble, or problem. Your problem is caused by a number of things that could be easy or VERY, VERY difficult to troubleshoot [look for the problem] and repair.
