If I said you could walk on water, would you believe me? If a said you could rise the dead, would you believe me? If i say greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world, would you ...

And if some book told you all this that was written by some guy today, would you believe it?

What makes you think a book written between 6 thousand, and 1,800 years ago my a lot of different guys. rewritten. Translated. Mistranslated. Editorialized. and Plagiarized.  Is even any less true?

Foolproof you say? Challenge excepted.

Yes,  I think you would have to...   If, for example,  that 'guy' living today happens to  be an Apostle, or a Prophet, and was able to prove those writing claims through signs, wonders. and miracles... the way it was actually done in Scripture
(Acts 19:11).

I have no doubt that many ungodly & uninspired men throughout centries have tampered with written scripture, but that doesn't mean what we have in the KJV is not THE preserved, inspired, inerrant, infallible word of God...

After all, the God who inspired men to pen the Holy Scriptures, is the SAME God who inspired others to preserve the written scriptures (Psalm 12:6-7)
