the navy ship" uss hannibal " (later AG-1) 1939-1945, does anyone have any info on the crew? my father was on that ship ....i never met him but would like some info. thank you!

The best I can say from my personal knowledge is that the Navy bought the ship before the Spanish American War and uised it as a bombing target in Chesepeake Bay in March 1945. 

If there is a Ship's Personnel Log for such an old vessel it will be at the US Naval Archives, Pax River, or the Ships register at Annapolis. 

There burns no hotter fire in hell than that reserved for cowards, home wreckers, and troublemakers. Be warned accordingly.
