The nation hates the GOP ?

The odds that President Obama will be reelected are strong and growing stronger. The economy is staggering back to its feet, no one can credibly claim that the Republicans are better on national security, and the field of Republican candidates continues to be an embarrassment of embarrassments. And the Republicans know it and fear it. And their proposed alternatives are themselves just more embarrassments of embarrassments.

This nation is laughing at the Republican field... how can they not?  Even my mother is embarrassed... but I cannot find it in me to tell her "I told you so".

Do not "misunderestimate" the degree of hate against Barack Obama in segments of America. It far outweighs all of the traditional election indicators and benchmarks. In addition, the enthusiam for Obama displayed by the Black American communities in 2008 will not rise to the same level in 2012. Think about. How many individuals do you know that voted for Obama in 2008, but will not vote for him in 2012. Even if they cannot bring themselves to vote for the Republican candidate, they will rather sit out the election. Of course all of that could change if Hillary Clinton signed on as Obama's vice president.

You have a phony increase in the Dow, due to the devaluation of the dollar (and most all currencies) against the price of commodities.  Daily use commodities have prices going through the roof.  Unemployment is still above the 8% OBummer promised we wouldn't exceed.  Obama called Bush irresponsible for increasing the deficit by 1.3 trillion....then look we he did.

Can I have a refund on the stimulous $ he "borrowed" in my name???
