Narcolepsy

They said for years my mom had insomnia but she falls asleep alot during the day while she eats or does her nebulizer treatment sometimes standing at the counter or watching tv. she falls asleep usually around 4am for 2-3 hrs but during the day she falls asleep alot. she also has developed hand tremors which get worse during the night time hours.she gets leg pains and cramps at night also. She went to a sleep disorder doc who said it wouldn't make sense to have her stay over if she is awake all night. Should she go for a sleep study? Is there any corrilation with the tremors and the leg pains?

I am attaching an article that links Narcolepsy with Parkinsons disease. Apparently it is not very known that that two are connected. It could be something to look into. I am very sorry to hear about your mother and wish her all the best.
