Paula , a good book to read about this subject would be " The Hiding Place" by Corrie ten Boom.  A great read.

So I got me a pen and a paper, and I made up my own little sign. I said, "Thank you Lord, for thinkin' about me, I'm alive and doin' fine."

Amen, Michael.  Another great read is, "The Diary of Anne Frank."  It is a chilling tale of persecution, faith, and redemption.  It says the truth about the horrors the Nazis inflicted against innocent persons.
