I am looking for information on a very old steel ...

I am looking for information on a very old steel record that I have. It was made by William Henry Ramsbottom somewhere around 1930-1940 in New York City. If anyone knows anything about steel records or the preformer by answer me back.

It sounds like a record-at-home record, or, more likely, the kind that you could get recorded in special booths at places like amusement parks.  Does it look like the ones here:

I've seen discs of this type made in the 1920's and 30's that were usually

made on location with portable recording equipment. This technology didn't last

too long, as it required a fiber needle to play it back and a standard needle on a

regular phonograph would destroy it. You may also have a "master disk" used to press copies  into vinyl.
