Sorry, I don't ever remember a song starting like that.

Don't follow in my footsteps, I run into walls. =)

Thanks for at least responding. Im from Texas, U?

see ya!

I found this when I Googled the lyrics

John Prine and Iris Dement
If for no other reason than they can get away with singing lines like "He ain't been laid in a month of Sundays / Caught him once he was sniffin' my undies," and "swears like a sailor when she shaves her legs" in a country song, without cracking up John and Iris deserve a spot on any list of great duet pairs.

Listen to: In Spite of Ourselves, We're Not the Jet Set, and Let's Invite Them Over.

While you're at it, pretty much anyone John sings with makes a great duet. Speed at the Sound of Loneliness with Nanci Griffith and Angel From Montgomery with Bonnie Raitt are equally amazing. Finally, YouTube has a hilarious version of In Spite of Ourselves with John and Patty Griffin, though she lacks Iris' ability to sing it with a straight face.

You are welcome.  I'm always remembering just a portion of a lyric and can't remember the whole song.  Generally I type "lyrics" and the portion of the words I can recall into the search box and I usually get a match - even if I have a word or two wrong. Glad to be of help!

Who wrote the song

You might be referring to "Jesus Is Just Alright", which the Doobie Brothers released in 1972. It was a cover version of a mid-60s gospel recording written by Arthur (Art) Reynolds.

I hope the gospel song give me the word. RECALLS ON 2000 TOYOTA ...

Best I can say is get to a mechanic that knows Toyota. That ain't always the dealership. You might want to send the car out to a mechanic you know for a fact can handle it, let him keep it long enough to fix every thing that is wrong, take it on a 50 mile test drive on roads like where you live ...

Doesn't this song make you feel like dancing to it, that natural dancing
