How long does it take first MTP joint to fuse? I had my surgery on 8/25/08 and it is now 10/20/08 and the fusion has only just begun. The surgeon is checking back with me in November to see if there is any further progress. Is something wrong with me, I thought this fusion would be complete by 7-8 weeks post op? Gina
