Other than holding a complete household yard sale, you could contact an estate sale company. They will come in and appraise everything for you and have the sale for you!

Go to google maps, and see if you have a CONSIGNMENT store in your area.  Call them.  If you have stuff to give away,  let the Vietnam Veterans, or Catholic Charities pick them up at your home (they will give you a receipt for tax deduction).

I think the first thing you should do is to look on internet and search for those company that buy furniture..and then subscribe with their site.
