Kelly, that depends entirely on how you move.  If you rent a U-Haul and pack it yourself and drive it yourself, it will not cost as much money as if you hire a moving company, but unless you have experience driving truck, you should not attempt this way of moving.

It depends also on how much stuff you will be moving.  A whole house, say 5,000 square foot fully furnished house or a small apartment, or an average size home of 1400 feet.

Contact one of the large and reputable moving companies and get an estimate, then contact another one and compare them and perhaps bargain with them.  Good Luck
