According to the terms of your Mortgage Agreemengt, no.

But most mortgage companies have thousands of foreclosed properties on the books, so they are usually willing to work with you.

It actually depends on the lender but you should be given a grace period. If you need a good loan modification company then try these guys, they helped my sister last year.
