My house is foreclouse..... in couple of weeks ...

my house is foreclouse..... in couple of weeks........ We owe 20,000 for the past due payment........ I have 10,000 + I am hoping I still have hope to save my home.... what do you say????

Have you spoke to the lender? No one wants to foreclose. Then they will have to put the house on the market and wait till it gets sold. Also contact a financial manager they can help you with options. Also this is a government site that might be able to help you too. there are new laws that pass.let say your payments are 2000.00 a month.you can make a deal ,you can give them 1000.00 a month,there will take it.so no there will not take your house away.call your lender make deal of payment plane.there so many problem today there will help you.

My aunt used a loss mitigation company to "redo" the terms of the loan at an interest only payment at 3.5% for 4 years. The company did some arm twisting with the bank to get them to accept these terms to avoid a foreclosure. She went through the free evaluation form at www.totaldebtsolutionsllc.com and a rep called within 24 hours. Best of luck whatever you decide.

Do not put yourself out. We never like losing our homes, but sometimes we have to ask ourselves: can we really afford this. Is it worth the sleepless nights in trying to raise the money. And if there are children involved we as the parents make the home not the building itself. It's alright to size down if health and happiness is a stake. Wish you well

Have you spoke to a counselor for debt counseling help? I was in the same scenario as you, and they helped me clear debt, keep my home, and I am living well ever since. Keep it in mind.
