Discuss Hans Quistorff's answer to: How much money should a person recieve from Ins co, for a slip and fall and the person had to have her back surgery on her herniated disc?

The answer that lawyers give me when I treat such a person is; what is nessesary to make the person whole again.

The Insurance company of course has a different opinion.  Try to find as much heath record proof of you health before the fall and ask your health care providers for referral to a lawyer that works for your best interests.  Some will just make a compromise with the insurance company to get paid with minimum effort.
