kensington, tofte organization ; I received a letter from this company that I am a beneficiary of an estate from unclaimed funds and they want $30.00 to procede with their investigation . Is this a scam ? They are located in delray beach fla.

Answers

If someone asks you for money for an estate, it is advance fee fraud.  A beneficiary of an estate does not normally have to pay for an "investigation". 

It is possible that you do have unclaimed funds; you can search for that yourself for free.  http://www.unclaimed.org/

If you had a PO Box in Jacksonville, then there is an insurance refund you can claim.
