Such types of cards are known as "reward credit cards". Besides this there are also many attractive offers by companies to make their cards more acceptable for people. Such rewards are usually either in the form of gifts (ranging from cheap to precious ones) or in form of trips, incentives etc.  depending upon the nature of cards.
