What happens in you file for bankruptcy then go to work abroad for a few years - can you come back with a clean slate. I heard that is possible in Europe what about the US?

If you file a B/R, your Social Security Number is the same no matter where you are. You really need an Attorney on this if you plan to file. There are a few types to file, they can help.

I truly hope that you took my advice and talked to an Attorney and held off on the B/R ..That could ruin your credit for years..
