Dear Ken and Daria, I am a 51 year old man and my wife filed for divorce 3.5 years ago and it still is not concluded. She was the breadwinner during our 19.5 years of marriage. I just read your article about little known strategies to maximixe your social security benefits and tapping into hers. She assumed a substantial amount of our debt in order to refinance our family home so she could remain in it. In turn, she was to buy me out using her 401 (k) and retirement accounts. she has not done this and dropped out of mediation and chosen litigation. My question to you is: What kind of a professional would I contact to implement the benefits you discuss in your article ?. I live in Oceanside Ca. Thank you, Ken Hooper 760-216-2469
