Well, your question is not very clear, but as far as my understand there is no problem in transferring your portfolio in any broker's account.
did you ask how much where your stocks first of all?, ans is the stock brocker who have to transfer them, or the finantial institution where you buy them.
I suggest that you ask the new broker for assistance. You are experiencing a common problem.

If the account is a Retirement account or a back end loaded account, you may be charged a few. You did not give enough details.

There should be no problem in transferring your portfolio account to any broker's account. However, if that still doesn't solve your problem, you seek your broker's assistance or look for a new and experienced broker.
