Mom's b-day

I was unable to give my mom anything for Mother's day.  Today's her birthday and I forgot this morning and on the phone with her.  I made is seem like I did that on porpose to surprize her, so now I have to do something realy big.  I have about an hour and a half untill my mom gets home. Any Ideas?

Do you have any flowers blooming in the neighborhood...that someone would LET you pick and put in a vase?

I am a mother of a lovely 17 year old daughter...and this is the first year she was able <with her debit card> to order me something online for Mother's Day.  It was white chocolate covered strawberries...shipped...received late...but it was the thought that counts.  I don't know how old you are...but just being with her every year before on Mother's Day was sufficient for me.  We would bake a cake or make brownies...order out a pizza and watch a movie together...or just sit around on the porch and talk.  Time with her is and has always been the best Mother's Day gift she could ever give me.  She tells me I'm the best Mom in the world...how much she loves me and confides in me with her whole heart.  What mother could ask for more???

Just open your heart to her...and leave it open.

Do you cook or bake? Go to www.supercook.com and enter a few ingredients in the 'search' field. It will come up with results which suggest what you can make based upon the ingredients you entered.

Select something to make, then prepare it and while it cooks or bakes, write her a poem or make her a card, telling her all the reasons why you love her and are happy she's your mom.

Get going!

I also suggest a sincere apology. Boy, you screwed up bad. Did your mom ever forget to feed you when you were hungry? Did she ever forget to hug you when you were hurt? Did she ever forget to cloth you? Did she ever forget to change your diapers, breast feed you, make sure you were warm and safe? You screwed up.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

Ahh. just keep doing like Sparkys Mom does, make it seem like somthing it's not. Once you started to make it seem like something else you can not stop. Thats what sparkys Mom does. She "TRIES" to make things seem like something they are not. Only DUHHHhhhhddddave believes her though.
