Get moles with ideal gas equation first.

 

PV = nRT

(1 atm)(30 Liters) = n(0.08206 L*atm/mol*K)(298.15 K)

 

= 30/24.466 = moles methane

 

= 1.226 moles methane

================

 

1.226 mole methane (6.022 X 10^23/1 mole CH4)

 

= 7.4 X 10^23 molecules of methane
