Trying to modify

I have been trying to modify my first mortgage for over a year. I have been given one excuse after another. We did not make enough to we made to much and now because we filed bankruptcy. We had to to save our home. My second mortgage helped me with the first call I made. Is there anything I can do?

If your bk is over 24 months since closed, FHA may be able to refinance.   Are either of you veterans?  I'm a loan originator and not looking for your business but will be glad to assist you.  I wasn't sure if you were able to renogiate on your second?  If  so, believe it or not, that's the hard one.  Please feel free to correspond with me via my personal e-mail, kah335@aol.com
