What do you do on MLK Day?

What do you do on Martin Luther King Jr. Day?  Is it a normal day of work or a day off?  Do you go an MLK Day event?

I remember Dr. King and what he spoke for.

Party; There is no work

I don't wish to be argumentative ,but I disagree with the Islamic belief that I should be killed! " If radical atheists decided they needed to kill believers to ensure their place in nothingness, I'd be criticizing that too."

Some say it is a holiday to me it is just anouther day of the week as some get th day off and other's have to work. Others think it was the start of equal rights for all but is is a start of equal justice ??????? as there is still a great amount of discrimination in the world.

Equal justice for All The law works but the system needs changed, We all abide by the law but sometime it failes us. The same with the goverment. God bless the USA, Brign our troops HOME safely, To the men who did not get the credit they deserve, MAY GOD WATCH OVER OUR SERVICE MEN.

act in the present and enjoy life!

MLK's day is not celebrated in Israel but I made myself a private habbit: on that particular day I give a lecture on MLK (man and ideas).  Each year a new different lecture and it is gaining popularity.  P.S - it is free (all vulanteer, including the hall owner).

According to this, this photo is from the annual MLK observance in Columbia, South Carolina, which is held on the north side steps of the statehouse.  On those steps sits a large statue of George Washington.  You know, the father of our country.
