Well, I don't know why you're asking for advice when you are the expert, but since you did, and I have your ear, think about this.  Do you really need a church to be a pastor?  You don't need the income, you just want to do the work.  There are a million places to do this work all around you.  You were a missionary, and that is reaching out to others that are different from you.  You say you hold papers that will let you pastor anywhere, well, what about on those roads you were building?  What about the homeless shelters and soup kitchens?  What about the parks where the homeless and disadvantaged congregate?  Your flock is scattered over every hill and in every valley and you have to round them up.  Quit looking to babysit a flock that someone else has already gathered.
