Coming from an atheist, I'd say God doesn't do it.  But to get to your actual question, I'd say to look at it this way (and yes I'm stealing this from Howard Stern's "Private Parts" movie).  Your body knew something was wrong and it had to do what it did for you to survive.  But sometime soon, you'll try again, and this time, you'll do just fine because you'd know that if something was seriously wrong, your body would reject it.

Don't worry, those unborn souls will return back to God.

It's natures way of eliminating an imperfection in a fetus that was not viable. It happens through no fault of your own. Wait the traditional period of time to rebuild your health and try again.

In a disordered mind, as in a disordered body, soundness of health is impossible. ~Cicero

How many pregnancies end in Miscarriage? Total and % if available?

A lot? It is estimated that about 20% of pregnancies end in early stage miscarriage, most without the mother even being aware that she was pregnant. It is supposed to be Nature's way of making sure only the fittest survive.
