I own mineral rights to a property in Oklahoma. An oil company is interested in drilling for gas and oil. Is it safe to assume that they have reason to believe that they suspect that there may be gas or oil on the property. How do they select the land that they chose to drill on?

I don't think you mean $100 to sell your mineral rights. Typically you get some money for permission to drill, and then you would get a share of the oil and gas produced.
