Usually the latest version works best for me. I never noticed any performance issues and the improved video conversations seem pretty good.

I can't how figure out how to send a message on the new messenger...Keeps kicking me off ...I can use the wrighting but that sucks

hi,

this is omer....

i had vista on acer laptop4930,but before i was having somehow old version of live messenger but now i downloaded 2009 14. something...

but still the cause is i din`t get the real appear of new version...

i mean the look which i had seen in screen shot`s while downloading...

and still i don`t have vedio call on my window messenger...

but when i go for my status of version it show`s me 2009...

why???????????

try to completely uninstalling and then re-installing from the official Microsoft site, here: http://download.live.com/?sku=messenger
