Call you town clerk and ask for the phone number of your local housing authority. Then call them and you will fill out an application. They will tell you there is a waiting list but tell them you are in need right away that you are being evicted and they will house you instantly. Write a dear john letter to your congressman and he will get you in quickly. You are already eligible because you are on disability. Section 8 is different. It pays part of your rent with what you pick out to live in. They come and inspect and make sure it is worth what you will pay. With the housing authorities you live in one of their apartments in a community which I think is better. With section 8 you may have to move many times if the people sell their homes. But, not with senior housing. It is called senior housing but peolple under the age of 65 live in senior housing too. Good Luck.

I am not sure how to answer your question.  Your best bet would be to hire an attorney who specializes in these sorts of issue.  He/she can cut through the red tape quicker than you trying to do this yourself or file for appeals.  I know attorneys cost money, but for issues like this, they are usually willing to represent you on a contingency basis on your behalf.  You could also try calling legal aid in your state and ask for an attorney to represent your interests.
