Not much, honestly.  I think it's a problem in America that we aren't taught to care about these days.  They are just days off from school or work.... not with very much meaning.

I wouldn't wanna be in a club that wouldn't let me in...

Memorial Day to me is, the day that I remember, and honor the men and women that fought, and died for my freedom. If not for these heros Americans would not have any liberty at all.

America, Land of the free and home of the brave!

God bless our Troops....!!!

Don't apologize for me Obama. I love my country and I am PROUD of it, and will do whatever it takes to keep it free!

Memorializing those who have made efforts to keep our country 'the land of the free, and, the home of the brave'.

A day to remember and honor those that serve, those that have served, those that have gone to rest in service, and any person serving another as an act of duty, uncondtional love, devotion and obligation.

We need to pray for those vets that are alive and we need to give them the best medical care offered in this nation at the expense of THIS government and not on their own as obama had thought.  These men and women left families and possesions to defend our nation and today I honor them and if you don't, you are not American.

i remember my own service, and it seems pretty useless to me now.

I am sorry you feel that way because you have the respect of every real American that is free today. You are honored today too Richard.

Having been a soldier for 20 years it means everything. I lost so many dear friends through my career and not all of them were combat related. However; that does not mean that they are in any way thought of less. I cared about each of them and make a point to remember them still today. We were brothers and sisters in arms. That carrries a lot of weight with me. Anyone that has the courage stand up for what they believe in and is willing to give their life for it,deserves the highest respect from us all. Our country is built on the bones of all of those who have gone before us and I will never forget it.
