Yes I believe it is, the drug is used to stimulate bone marrow for those on Chemotherapy and the white cells are not reproducing themselves. It is used for cancer patients.

Neulasta, used in conjunction with Chemo most times, is an antineoplastic.  It is given reference infection and to guard against the decrease in white blood cells (neutropenia) in Cancer paients and some tumors.

Your doctor is the best source of information on a condition requiring Chemo and cancer.

Consultant your Onocolist for further questions.
